Lots to Spot Flashcards: At School! is a lovely set of double-sided flashcards, designed to engage young children as they learn numbers, colours and the new words about starting school.

One side features an illustration of a new word that they may encounter when starting school, such as 'backpack', 'whiteboard' or 'pencil case'. The other side shows a number and a colour. For example, on the 'trumpets' card, the back of the card features the number '2', an illustration of 'two gold trumpets' and the background colour is gold. Each card also features a "Spot the odd one out activity" for children to enjoy.

The handy instruction card provides lots of ideas for how to use the cards and keep children occupied such as "Count the number of objects on each pair of matching coloured cards – each pair adds up to ten". On the other side of this card is an overview of all the words featured in the set. 

The striking illustrations by children's illustrator Ailie Busby will be adored by little ones and will keep them focused as they discover and learn.
