Lots to Spot Flashcards: Out and About! is a lovely set of double-sided flashcards, designed to engage young children as they learn numbers, colours and new words about the world around them when they visit a park, town centre or even a local farm.

One side features an illustration of something your child might find, such as 'building', 'umbrella' or 'scooter'. The other side shows a number and a colour. For example, on the 'truck' card, the back of the card features the number '1', an illustration of 'one orange truck' and the background colour is orange. Each card also features a 'Spot the odd one out' activity for children to enjoy.

The handy instruction card provides lots of ideas for how to use the cards and keep children occupied such as 'Count the number of objects on each pair of matching coloured cards – each pair adds up to ten'. On the other side of this card is an overview of all the words featured in the set. 

The striking illustrations by children's illustrator Kathryn Selbert will be adored by little ones and will keep them focused as they discover and learn.
