Asian Raw Food Kitchen is a collection of recipes created by raw food advocate Shannon Lim-de Rooy. The book is crafted from the perspective of food lovers who crave mostly Asian flavours, but want to make better food choices to minimise the impact on their bodies and the environment. It is also a guide to introducing more fresh produce to one's meals – adding more whole and unprocessed, mostly local plant-based foods – as well as the tools and techniques in preparing raw food dishes, sweets and beverages.

Shannon Lim-de Rooy is a food writer, recipe developer, cookery instructor and food blogger who specialises in raw food. Her entry into the raw food lifestyle began at an advanced raw food workshop conducted by raw food specialist Daniw Arrazola from the Philippines.
